Description

The book is in fact a sequel to Sakkers' book "Generalfeldmarschall Rommel: Opperbevelhebber van Heeresgruppe B..." It contains notes from the KTB's (Kriegstagebücher = War Diaries) of the individual German positions, batteries and defences in the Atlantic Wall along the Normandy coast during the Allied Invasion of June 6, 1944.

Through these notes a detailed picture is created of the happenings during D-Days and the German reactions to these happenings. A VERY detailed description of what happened were and when along the German defences and the consequences of these actions. Minute by minute, hour by hour.
