The Atlantic Wall in Zeeland and Flanders - During Construction and in Battle 1942-1944

This book is considered to be one of the "classics" of bunker-literature. The first version was published in 1990. It describes the construction, structure and organisation of the Atlantic Wall fortifications of the Dutch province of Zeeland and the Belgian part of Flanders. It describes the structures in general, but it also describes individual bunkers, batteries, radar systems, etc., lavishly illustrated with photos, drawings, bunkerplans and maps.

The second part of the book describes the battle for Walcheren and the port of Antwerp - and of course: the role of the Atlantic Wall fortifications in this battle.

It is written in Dutch entirely and is illustrated with HUNDREDS of photos, drawings, plans and maps. The book is hard-to-find!
