Description

  Between 1939 and 1945 about 20 bunkered headquarters were constructed and used - some of them are quite famous,  such as the "Wolfsschanze" in East-Prussia, but other are almost forgotten.

Hitler's headquarters "Felsennest" which was used during the Westfeldzug between Mai 10 and June 6, 1940 is one of the latter. This book tries to change this. It tells the history and pictures the architectural details of this headquarters and is individual  buildings - bunkers and barracks. At the end of the war Generalfeldmarschall Walter Model used it again for leading the Ardennes-Offensive, the Battle of the Bulge.

The book is written in German entirely and illustreted with HUNDREDS of photos, drawings, plans, maps and documents.
