The author describes how the German defences were structured and organised in this part of the Atlantic Wall. He describes the individual strongpoint, coatsal batteries and all other positions. Het also describes the individual bunkers and their characteristics. For this he uses many contemporary, World War Two photos as well as a lot of modern, present day photos. The book also contains a description of daily life in Breskens during World War Two as well as the military happenings in the region around it. The book is written in Dutch entirely and is illustrated with HUNDREDS of photos, drawings, plans and maps.
