The author shows the reader some examples of Navy, Army and Airforce batteries as they were deployed during World War Two as part of the German coastal defence line better known as "The Atlantic Wall". German coastal batteries in Norway, Denmark, Germany, Holland, Belgium, France and the Channel Islands are shown and explained - mostly with the use of contemporary, wartime photos and some photos showing the situation nowadays. The book is written in German entirely and is illustrated with ca. 300 photos, drawings, bunkerplans and maps. |
