The book tells the history of the Württemberger Mountain Artillery in World War One. The Book is divided in 4 parts:

The first part is about the Württemberger Gebirgs-Kanonen Batterie 6 and 1/2 8. This Battery was active in Tirol, Serbia, Macedonia, Reims, Verdun, Carpathia and Romania.

The second part of the book is about the Württemberger Gebirgs-Kanonen Batterie 13. This Battery was active at Serbia, Greek border-region, Carpathia, Romania, Moldau.

The third part of the book is about the Württemberger Gebirgs-Kanonen Batterie 11, which was active in Carpathia against the Russian-Romanian offensives in the summer of 1917.

The fourth and last part of the book is about the Württemberger Gebirgs-Artillerie-Abteilung 4, active at the Isonso-front, Piave, the Venitian Alps. Then to France - Bapaume, Armentieres, Chemin des Dames, Marne, Soissons, Reims.

The book is written in German and illustrated with more than 200 photos and drawings. The book is in altogether GOOD shape, although the maps (1 large and 10 small) are missing from the back. RARE!
