The textbook contains 6 essays on 20th century fortifications in the border-region between Germany and the Netherlands and Belgium. These essays were written by wellknow experts: Manfred Groß, Rudi Rolf, Horst Rohde and Wolfgang Wegener. See scan for contents.

The 6 maps are VERY detailed on a 1 : 50.000 scale. They show the locations of bunkers, gun emplacements, anti-tank ditches and -walls  and ringstände. The constructions can thus be easily found to vist them
