The book is a detailed description of the happenings on May 10, 1940 around 4 of the Belgian forts around Liege. It describes how the forts of Eben-Emael, Battice, Aubin-Neufchateau and Tancrémont were attacked and what happened before they one by one surrendered to the German troops.

The book is illustrated with HUNDREDS of previously unpublished photos - of which most came from the private collection of German soldiers that took part in the operations. It is written German.
